Why does everything suck now - Dudes, I don't know why I'm posting this...I guess I'm just a nostalgic bastard. Back in the mid to late 80's when OC really paled in comparision to the spots further north this friggin stretch came on....When it was overhead and out of control up north - a peak would come in a few hundred yards north of the pier and just peel....On smaller days a fun wedge was to be had next to the pier. It's gone these days of course...but who knows touch your penis enough and it may come back one day. Keep stroking...oh and most douches would stick to 7/8 th st which were half the size..HAHA they didn't even know what was going on...Oh my God, They didn't know...

Dead on - Your absolutley right. I was there last last Sept. early Oct. and this place was pushing double overhead. I was riding my 6 10. But hell, the paddle out was awful. Half the time my friends and I didn't make it back out.

Paddle - If there is one major negative about this place its that during big swells its one of the hardest paddles around. It's insane because there are no jetties, virtually no gullies or any other structure that could help create a passage out. Other than that it is an awesome spot if you dont mind the sweep. It gets you away from the hassle and stress of downtown and North End Ocean City.
