Qiantian river bore (Shanghai) -
In late october 2007, a team of western surfers lead by Yep -author of the Stormrider guides- went near Shanghai to surf the bore of Qiantian river.
It worked so well that they broke the world record for the longest wave ever surfed (Guiness Book approved !).

Polution - Polution is the number one problem, you surf there for a week and end up with a fatal deisiese! True happened to a mate of mine.
