If in lembongan village - The break is in front of lembongan village, plenty of better breaks in area but can be fun. was staying in the village and saw it rising - walk from front door 50m to fast head high left for a quik surf - fun but if its breaking others are much bigger.

Watever - Ive been to Lembongan abt 4 times, must have spent between 3-4 weeks there in total over the years and never seen a wave here, plenty at playgrounds, lacerations and shipwrecks tho
Por P@ , 11-11-2005
local kids rule - i surfed it a couple of times in june/july this year. its a fast, small, weak wave with a sharp reef bottom and the local kids have got it all figured, they're awesome! unless there's no one else out and ur looking for a wave without a crowd, i'd leave it to the locals.

Let's be serious. - The guy who wrote this review obviously owns a hotel or warung on the beach. Nice place for a swim, but surfing here would be like eating at a MacDonalds in Paris.

They're joking - I have spent some time surfing on Nusa Lembongan. Mushroom beach is not a place you want to surf, because if there is surf at Mushroom Beach, there is HUGE SURF at the other breaks on the island. There is also a novelty wave (a left) against the cliff face west of this beach on huge swells. However, given that there are 18 surf tour boats operating from this island, you might well try to find an empty wave here.

- Rp 33,000 (about $2) for the boat each way (only in the morning from Sanur) you can get a losman from $8 upwards a night on the island, I stayed at Playgrounds, opposite playgrounds break (next to coconuts) for $30 a night, coconuts is $60 based on 2 people and is much nicer than playgrounds and they will include their own boat

how much does it cost - how much does it cost
Por dude?? , 23-11-2004
Huh - You guys are joking right, im looking at the pics it looks fat and slow... im even suprised the guy is out..... has anyone got any decent pics of this break?
Por anonymous , 03-07-2004
- if the swell is big and you like wedgy sections this is the place.
Por anonymous , 19-12-2003
Sucky and Shallow fun - The left is a fast sucky shallow fun wave, watch for the reef and the sea weed farmers stakes. Take off and gun the sections and flick off before you hit the rock cliff. Good uncrowded waves, best at high tide. Don't nose dive.
