SHARK - Zoom in the the surfers near the beach. There seems to be a shark swimming amongst them.

gone - due to tweed river sand bypass sand pumping this wave hasn't existed for years. was a long top to bottom barreling left, thanks to sandpump we've lost kirra & the tweed bar left to be replaced by superbank & its crowd of 600

Easy access from D'bar - Easist access is from D'bar jusp paddel across the Tweed River. Don't freak out if a shark or two pass under you, there is even a resident Grey Nurse that patrols the north wall. A lot of its consistency depends on how much sand pumping is going on. Save the planet & 20kms of fuel - Don't be a pussy - paddle.

great white fingal - was just at fingal recently when i walked over the ridge to check out the right hand point from the wedge on the left and noticed that there was actually a guy out, i then realised it was a shark, ... later discovering it wasnt alone as 2 more sharks appered and began splashing around as another school began swimming through the waves. They looked like bronzeys but i cant be too sure.

KEEP QUITE - Who ever posted this spot is a dick head. try to keep some places quite. it was bacically the last spot on the Gold Coast you could get away from the crowds. Not now.

Fickle Bomie - This little spot is sweeeeeeeet when it is on but the tide means everything. It can be pumping one min and completely gone the next. Usually a few runners on small days when everything else is flat. If the swell is from the south there is about 1000 other better places to surf.... along with about 1000 other crew. ;-/
