too many waves too often - coast has like 10-w5 flat days a year. Super consistent. Sometimes tooo big and too stormy, but waves different beaches got diferent directions. some of the sickest waves I've had on crazy riverbar breaks and far out points. Good to get toasted and go surf, too many animals and not enuff girls

West Coast SI ---A lot more than People realise!!! - A lot of sandy bays and a lot of smashin reef breaks accessable from main roads but because main roads head inland for a good quarter of the coast theres a lot hidden spots out there, good luck in finding them, heres a start Mussel point a pounding 6 - 10+ foot on its day, left hand wave , half reef half sand. Beautiful summer late night surfs. A lot of tube rides when swell picks up at a few of the off the beat places. plenty of rad accomadtion right on coast batches backpackers and hot spas in front of your faviourite breaks in some places. Very friendly locals who over a few quiets might help you find those elusive spots that makes surfing an aventure of a life time!!!! "Surfing Soothes The Soul" - Clow -

no title - There's a few good set ups with plenty of swell. A few nice heavy beachies. The swell is always best around feb-may with cleaner swells hitting the coast. Before you paddle out, spend a bit of time watching the currents, especially around unpopulated rivermouths. Keep it real fool.
