Long Bay, Long Time - Hey, are you the same idealistic young schoolteacher Mike W. from St. Augustine that painted "Surf Cove" on the wall at the north end of Long Bay around 96-97? We met you on the plane coming into Kingston, remember? I looked for you on my return the next year, but the locals weren't sure where you'd gone. 6 months at Long Bay - Its a right in the summer with sand bottom, and left in winter with rocky bottom. Spring and fall are not as good. Dennis Parker may rent rooms for $20 a night one house south of the break. Iree fruit stand accross the street. More consistant than Boston Bay but Jamaica is more of a place to smoke than surf. Equal to Florida east Coast. Stay inside at night and watch out for police road blocks, they will search your car.
