The Past Comments - Its ashame that an old school surfer like me read this kind of crap from locals like me and for what... What do you proove, you got more cojones? Que nos pasa Puerto Rico. Do it with class and dont be a K-fre. If you were the owner I'm sure you wouldn't be surfing the boat. I have the privelage to live here and 4 years in Hawaii, and Im more convinced that people like you need to be chum for sharks. Se pasaron, Puerto Rico es de todos.

LOL, Locals only??? - You guys are funny, "Gringos go home"? I am Boriqua and even I know that our American Dollars here on the mainland keep you bastards from drowning!! OUR WAVE, OUR WATERS...AMERICAN WATERS if you dont like it leave PR and go to Haiti! LOL, I ran over some sponger at Chattaras in April, I said i had it! jerkoff!

epic once - I lived in aguadilla for 3 years I caught this place epic once, 100 yard rides with sick tube sections. Local spongers are creeps, and there also numerous. Not only do they cut you off, at the beach they will rip you off. Not worth the hassle. its not uncommon for there to be 70 boogers here in one session. Gas chambers is just down the beach, surf at your own risk. I surfed it 8 feet and got drilled only to be punched by a local booger when I surfaced. Dont worry he got his on the beach, I still have his boogie board leash, sucka...I hate PR, theres tons of good spots but locals and agro floridians and VA beach kooks ruin it.

Great wave but VERY INCONSISTENT - This wave can be great, however it only REALLY breaks 5-6 times a year. When it is going off though, the right is pretty damn fun and can get very hollow. When it is 6ft plus, the current is like a river and with a 100 yard ride can be very tiring trying to paddle back to the lineup. To avoid jello arms, catch one wave and walk back down the beach to jump off the pier again. On normal days here, its rarely over 2 ft and the water is crystal clear. A great place for a beginner surfer/bodyboarder on these small days. Snorkeling the piers is fun and there are pincho stands and a bar in the parking lot. Also there is a fish market here and sometimes you can get some good deals on dorado/wahoo/sierra/langosta etc.. As far as this place being dangerous, well I have been there well over 50 times and never had a problem besides my friends slippers getting jacked while we were out in the water. This is actually a good place to bring a family/date/tourists. Dont let the hype on this message board scare you, this place is safe. If you are looking for a great surf break though, just go back down the road and surf Wildos cuz Crashboat is pretty fickle.

looks like a cool spot - I've heard some semi true sketch stories about this place but not enought to keep me out. I'm sure that there are some gnarlies that hang there but from what I have heard the majority of the people that surf there are nice guys and also have been known to rip it up. I hope this place is on in a few weeks cause I'll be there.I'll post a follow up message on how my experience a Crashboats really was.

bad image - im american from n.j. and have been to crashboat beach about 7 times in the 10 days i was there and found the people there very friendly and laid back, robbed and stabbed right by your car??? if you look for trouble you will find it, but for the most part. very nice locals and helpful!!!
Por anonymous , 24-06-2004
Don't get stabbed! - Notice the message below..."make it out of the parking lot alive". Watch out for yourself here. Alot of tourist get worked over by locals and other a$$holes.
