Not a real surf spot - This spot only works when the swell is huge "outside". I mean, this spot is inside the bay of Saint Jean de Luz, so very protected from the swell, and most of time there is no wave there.

It's easy to access. Just park your car in the car parking of the port of Socoa, and go to the closest beach. No reef, just sand. The only dangers (as to me) is the quality of the water if it's rainy, because a river ends on the spot, and of course the rocky pier in the middle of the wave (you can see it on the pictures)

- Not really a surfspot. Powerless and rarely works, very boring place.

La Bougie - the last Mystery of Coté Basque? - To the publisher of the spot:
What do You think about entering a spot with no further data?
Please give us a little hint where we find La Bougie...
Is a reef next to it?
Is saltwater there?
Can we find even a beach close-by?
