localism - didn't know this sort of crap went on here. Just mind your manners if you're surfing in someone else's hood. All times I've been here, locals have been cool. Is there any surf in Tralee? Is the last guy for real?

Summer in Coumeenole - As the beach is quite short, especially when the tide is coming in. 100 - 150 metres it can get especially crowded with bathers. On these days it is impossible to surf safely and is really more suited towards bodyboarding.

safari - brandon bay was blown so we drove over to this break. it was only 2 to 3 feet but it was a blast. It was glassy and fast, mostly just down the line then kick out on the shore break close out. It felt like a little southpacific reef break with the clear blue water and hidden beach cove. I can imageine this break at 3 to 6 ft. If you score here your fully stoked. If its to big here then go to inch beach.

Hollow - When this goes off, incoming to high tide and offshore with a bit of a swell this wave gets really fast and hollow. Bit of a pounder and a short ride. water is crystal clear. As you're standing on the beach paddle in on the right by the rocks in between sets, there's a strong rip that'll whip you out, trying to get out any other way will leave you in tears. Big rock formation in the middle of the cove, stay left or right.
