Vigo - Damn Patos is pretty crwoded. I just moved to Vigo and need to catch some waves? Does anybody has an idea on how I can get to a nice spot?
Por asiduo de patos , 19-12-2006
locals - I go to patos every week. the problem is not the locals. somedays the people is agressive, but it doesn't matter. the problem is: in a good day, at the point break there ar near to 50 persons, in the monte ferro's left other 50, in the beach 100 persons, at prado 30, at "la cala" 50 people more. there ar a lot of people. its imposible to ride a wave in the 3 good waves, you must go to the beach and ride the worst wave that I ver seen. probably patos is the mos´t populated beach of spain. and i have a message to the locals: you must to be more moderated, the waves are public.be friendly spanish¡¡¡¡¡ is the better way.

crowds & crowds - Patos is closets beach-break to Vigo, the main city of Galicia so do not expect surf alone. If you are not local don´t try to surf in the main breaks of this beach. No one is welcome in this beach. You´d better try another alternative.

Patos - for a good day there you have to know where are the rocks.only the locals can surfing safely there. the waves have an enormous force. Be careful¡

Patos - Patos is the only real surfable beach in the Vigo area but there are some islands blocking the swell. You're better off driving to Portugal or north. Unless you're hard up and just want to get wet.

patos beach - Hello, I just want to say that I'm a local from Patos and it's a very crowded beach. You have very good photos but its rare when waves are so perfect.Locals are kind most times but don't goe to the rock pick unless you are good or you don't care about people shouting all the time...
