h-dudes, avoid - happy dudes does not deserve any positive press. As a frequent attempted customer there it didn't take me long to figure out that there are much better surfshops in the area staffed by actual surfers..

Response to Happy Dudes comment - I find what you said about Happy Dudes surprising. I've been heading down there for a few yrs now and Keith and the guys at HD have been nothing but great every time I've stopped in (even the 1st time I met him). He's lended me fins, hooked me up with great deals, told me about other spots to check out. I don't know if you caught him on a real bad day or what, but he's been nothing but cool to me.

About Happy dudes surfcamp - I went to Lawrencetown area in late october last year for a few days. The happy dudes shop offers a camp site. It is pretty convenient, and close to the spots, but trust me the host is very unfriendly. just give him his 10$/night and dont ask anything, he s not helpful and doesn t like to talk.

places in larry town - hey y'all im a local in lawrence town here! just letting you know of some good stuff for begginers theres a surf shop called happy dudes lots of great merchandise there great lessons if your taking them good deals on rentals theres also a shop called kannon beach thats pretty good too but i prefer h-dudes larrytwn is usually foggy but still lots o fun
