waterhog - SO...if anybody still is reading this...Let me get this straight. Simmons is that hollow closeout wave that breaks next to that big rock like 100 yards north of Windansea? because yeah I've only seen it break big on a NW a handful of times. I saw one guy paddle over from the North and get psyched out. Anyways so is that Simmons? Or is that Rockpile? and what break is "Turtles?" just curious. I know Windan' well but not the names of the other peripheral breaks.

Fickle spot - If it is good, most other places are going off. It takes perfect conditions.

simmons sucks - when this place is "good" it is a big closeout barrel slamming on a fully exposed rock and barnacle ledge. id give this wave a 1 out of 10 and i friken live in front of it!

Simmons Does Exist - this place does exist, it's a right, and it's way gnarlier and shallower than Big Rock. It just doesn't break as often. And the locals WILL claim, so don't even try (especially you nut-dragging Spongebob Squarepants stoolpushers)

- this place is a super high tide only break and the wave explodes over 2ft of barnacles. this is where bob simmons died.
