Surfers use the large Publix parking lot across A1A. Cross at the light and walk over the public beach access wedged between the Ramada and a condominium. great wave - Probably my favorite wave in brevard county. The water gets deep here much faster than the surrounding sandbars which amplifies the waves and works pretty well at all swell angles. S swells wrap in in rights at the south end, E swells wedge up into A-frames and break right and left, and N swells wrap into the N end of the spot making its famous left. Its a good shortboard wave if its overhead.

rc's - usually always a good sandbar around these beaches and 1-2 foot bigger then everywhere else! rc's is not just a left it is right and left, every now and then the sandbars get exceptional here. now the cool thing about this break is its big big big wave holding capability. i have witnessed its outside reef breaking when its about 10 foot and solid. you will see waves around it breaking all up and down the beach and rc's a football field farther. breaking left handed. everyones chill here so leave your attitude at home. learning to surf go ahead. but watch out for the rock shelf

Excellent Melbourne Break - This wave is almost always bigger than the surrounding breaks. The rock/sand bottom make this place break with more power and speed than most breaks in Florida and it can hold huge swells without closing out. Big careful getting in and out of the water because those rocks come out of nowhere especially when its big. Awesome place to surf!
