- This is a remote beach on Ilha Bela. Its hard to believe you are just 3 hours from the chaotic city of Sao Paulo..(plus one hour drive across the jungles..)This coastline really delivers the goods..and Castelhanos is one of those places that will be hard to forget. The mosquitos are the only setback, no joke these buggers will f@%k you up..bring repelent and then some bring more...they love gringo blood. oh yeah and when its flat everywhere else.. on an east swell this place can be firing!!!
