Taghazout ..... - Just came back from a amazing trip in Morocco. Was looking forward to Taghazout, but the place (not the surf) was really messed up. The main road was full of glue sniffers (we asked some local waiters). When high on glue people look like zombies... for real, this gives the place a very messed up atmosphere, like you want to get the hell out of there. If you JUST care about the surf Taghazout is the place, with a lot of different breaks around for everybody. If you expect a bit more from your trip besides surfing head up north for much more scenic spots and goooood waves aswell..... PS. Agadir is tourist trap full of retired Germans, serious head up north towards Essaouira....

Aluminum soda-pop cans make great hash pipes! - I don't toke hashish anymore, I still miss sparkin' up some after a good surf session back home in Cali, so my question is: "Did some of the authors of south Moroccan surf spots toke lots of hashish before & after their surf sessions there?" I'm asking this since it seems like some of the authors may have had a good buzz-on whenever they wrote some of these spot descriptions...

Surfboards - You can buy anything here if the price is right, theres a lot of surfboards about and cars to rent, hookers to shag lots of dope, at 75 euros a kilo upwards.

gash point - its not really a point is it people? which stoned fool back in the day thought they were surfing a point hey? ha yes the hashish is good. yes the sunshine is good, but hash point is a close out beach break, which only works on a real low tide and a pretty big swell. stayed in cigarette mohameds place. very communal living, met some lovely people. unfortunatly it was flat for 3 weeks and the whole town smells of poo and wee. if it smelt better i would go back there again. oh yeah dont feel sorry for those begging things, or the theives, if they really wanted, they could earn an honest living.

mmmmmmmmmm - i stayed in mohammeds just in front of hash point aswellwhat a great little place!!!! it never worked properly for us either panorams was nice tho!

chill - i stayed right in front of hash point and the waves always closed out on a bigger swell... but on a high tide it can be really fun out there. i had the best sessions out there with my friends.

EPIC DANGER RATING!!! - True, true, da Boyz don't lie, Hash Point crumbles like Gold Seal and stinks like re-press! Don't do as I did and forget the submerged rock whilst paddling out in front of the Auberge or you too will end up with the lamest surf scars in the world. P.s. If you're staying at Mohammed's house, use the bl**dy plunger to flush the dunnie: the bucket just can't cut it!
