Fake pics - Had a look at the pictures and thought I had to expose this guy. But then I saw somebody did already. There is no grass on the Namibian coast, and car registrations are reversed, and if there are spots in the south of Namibia you will never get there with a sedan vehicle. Wannasurf should verify spots somehow....

jono the fraud - to all you out there this guy is one big bullshiter...was bust posting pics which he said were in the middle of Nam but were infact from the eastern cape just reversed....spots in the desert "far from any where"with a fucking stream...get real pal...even this pic is a joke...grass in the desert.....was up there for years....no fucking way...

Stoked - Thanks Jono for adding these awesome spots. Got a 4x4, gonna be working in those areas as a diamond-diver, so in all likelihood me and a few buddies will have access to them. I'm amping already!

To those knobs giving him kak about putting the spots up, stick to town buddies, dont want your type ruining the search vibe.

Nobody like whiners - Stop whining and go look for them. There are ways of getting in so get off your asses and make an effort like we did, or just stay at home and cry over what you could have surfed.

Get off your arse. - How do you know, do you work here? Maybe you should make an effort to find these waves like we did? We're not worried about the place ever getting overcrowded because that will and could never happen. So in other words, all are welcome. There are ways of getting in..

Affenrucken Point - Maybe this is Jono's "wish list" as Affenrucken, together with every other site in the diamond mining areas, is strictly out of bounds to all for recreational purposes ~ this includes local residents. Surfing in these areas has never been permitted in the past 100 years!! Suggest you visit the Namdeb website (www.namdeb.com) before planning any such (futile) trips.

No food, no worries...well almost... - We camped out here for 4 days once and just got pissed and lived off 'ali kriel' (a small, edible sea snail), which we collected bucket loads of on the reef. Plenty of fish and urchins too which you can eat.
