Kiff waves - I live in walvis bay about 10km from guns and i will recommend this spot to anyone anywhere. But there are two things you must make sure about before you go there.
-check the swell maps for swell (duh)
-make damn sure the wind isint blowing or it is blowing from an easterly direction preferably due east, this blows the wave hollow and makes some of the most spectacular barrels you will see south of hawaii.

i surfed there last weekend small but still fun about 10 of us in the water.

Get there early - I was there for a month in April last year, and I got 7 good days. Get down early coz that SouthWester starts up at about 11ish, mushing it up. Nothing better than a dawnie at cranking Guns, with that nice wrap-in section after the barrel to smack!

TO flighing dutchman - You'll be lucky to get it in summer,you never know.I got it lucky last summer,best i ever surfed it.There loads of other waves around.See ya there.

december conditions? - Does this place break in the Summer at all? I am going to Capetown to visit my parents. Normally I stay during the winter. I was wondering if it is worth it to drive up there.
I surfed Elands a number of times, but heard great things about Guns, the drive up there, the nature and beauty of Namibia.

Guns goes off! - Must agree world class big wave spot,not worth surfing under 4 foot (walvis bay guys are guilty)has a few people out when its good but in the end when the 6 footers come rolling in you see who the men are."I'll be back"
