Ambiente
English (Traducir este texto en Español): i always prefered to go to cape vidal just after a cold front weather system had gone past. the winds would usualy be calm and offshore, whilst the swell usually doubled in size.

always has to be someone :) - sad to see how the people round this area give away their secrets , and then go running back with the sob story of "other people" destroying and crowding their place... well you brought it about yourselves , or should I say the **** who put this on... Anyways , thnx, me a 1000 mates will be coming to have a jol from Joberg and perhaps even buy your houses from under your backsides... and take over ... :)

awsome wave - cape vidal is an ideal get away from everything. pure wilderness and beauty are the order of the day from such a quite and kept away secret of the east coast. it is so amazing how many great spots are just north of durban. but a word of warning has to go out to be very very careful on what actually lurks under those warm waters.me and my best mate had a weekend up there and must at least seen about half a dozen sharks pop out the water. but the thing is that there are some many spots littered around cape vidal. espicially this great big reef that sticks out about 400m from the beach. at low tide it sticks out and kind of makes a sort of mother nature shark net. great waves are to be had off that reef during high tide, but be really careful. although, the locals(not many- mainly from richards bay) reckon, that they dont bother the sharks so inturn the sharks dont bother them.all and all, the place always has a wave to offer, and espicially for that pure at heart soul surfer who wants be one with nature. i rate the place awsome - give it a try, i garuantee you will have lasting memories .

you are funny - what a laugh. ha ha ha ha. you should be a comedian. there is no houses or flats to rent or buy in the area you dutchman. only accomadation to stay in. and what makes you think you will even last out there for a session or two before getting eaten by a shark or croc? i reckon it is one of the the most picturesque spots on the planet for mind surfing. better luck next time you vaalie
