English (Traducir este texto en Español): Spot is extremely fickle and only breaks about 20 times a year.
Beware crowds of up to 100 surfers on the good days.
Plenty of snaking longboarders.
Is also the only spot that handles swell over 10 foot.

Sick wave - Surfing as a lifestyle is all about patience .....when the good wave switches on ...you gotta chuck everything and be on it !Millers is like that . If you want instant gratification and can't wait piss off and if you can ,this is an epic wave for the folk who are true die hard frothers.I've had J-Bay type waves here over a 10year span of sessions.Best at 4-6 ft....very deceptive ..you can assasinate the lip and pull in for 150m .Love it when cooks tune crap about this wave- more for me and my bros....quality before quantity!J-Bay comes to PE for the patient ones who always have their eyes opened ready to pounce.

- ye when millers is working the waves face is softer than the surrounding beaches but it has some sections where its good to smack off the top. nice break if u want a long rolling wave with some barrel sections. i extremely dislike the snaking longboarders though. its normaly the older guys they snake u but if u do it back then they give u a kak look. they normaly suck too.

Only for the patient... - I've surfed Millars at about 8-9 foot - in '84 in winter off a big south ground swell after the wind turned west. Any time it gets big it breaks on the middle reef unless the tide is high - and it needs a full storm swell to get any size. So it mostly has a reputation from the old days before the breaks were affected by the pier that was built and harbour wall extention in the 70's. Its really just a fun wave that can be good under specific conditions. Typified by a lazy flat section that suddenly pulls up in a steep wall for 4 - 5 meters before going soft then it repeats this a few times as a result of the reef. It can produce very small barrels easily on the rising and dropping tide. Suffers from chop in the NE wind.
