English (Traducir este texto en Español): There are a few reefbreaks around here. Most have great lefts and rights. Best on solid 6 foot ground swell comming in. They off long rides and on some days or low tide get super hollow. There is alot of kelp around so come if you dont mind that. Also, this is where alot of shark cage diving is done ie, boats that attract sharks for tourists. One of South Africa's biggets colonies of great whites are here, so if you can calm your nerves about that then come enjoy. As far as i know only a few attacks.
Ambiente
English (Traducir este texto en Español): Lots of kelp and probably lots of sharks but you got more chance being struck by lightning so..
General
English (Traducir este texto en Español): Awsome wave, always few crowds..

The odds of becoming an entree' for a typically hungry, Gr8 white snapshot model just 'cruising' between non-stop cage-diving shows here are strictly relative. - Since the author of this spot thinks the odds of being struck by lightning are better than death by a shark lunchbreak, maybe he's relating that lightning probability to an incident happening whilst summiting Mt.Hoek during an electrical thunderstorm & holding a metal staff overhead. You see these chances of an untimely death are indeed relative to the conduciveness of your surroundings to be creating exactly that sort of accident's likelihood. So I serioulsly doubt the author of this spot surfs adjacent to the world's most popular shark viewing area, aptly named 'Shark alley' by the way, or climbs Mt.Hoek in a thunderstorm whilst cluthing a large metal staff. Sounds alot like more of your typical Jono-foolery 2 me!
