 Información adicional

Crazy wave that comes from deep sea and then breaks on to a shallow rock ledge. Can only be surfed on mid-high, high and rising tides. Can get long depending on the swell and theres always plenty of that around here...problem is the wind, which needs to be a light NE offshore but can handle light E and SE. Anything from opposite directions will mess it up. Take off, drop into a heavy ledge of a wave and race it out down the line to make it out...it always does what its supposed to.

Ambiente

Shallow and dangerous. Have teared a few boards to pieces on this wave. Can't be standup surfed. The wave sits on a rock ledge next to a small rockysandy bay so theres where you paddle out from. Sometimes you get an awsome, heavy shorey on the beach here when the elements come together.

General

Sick wave. Always working. Breaks in about anything from 30cm to under 1 foot water....heavy.... Wave looks exactly like a spot called 'guillotines' in SE Australia but gets more swell, haha. Loads of urchins, which you will get familiar with if you wipeout on the reef. When you're done with your surf, get your revenge on the urchins by turning them inside out and braaing them on the beach! Loads of great, uncrowded spots around this area, most of them never surfed before.....except by us!!

Don't do it Paul; if you're going to run with Jono, be prepared to fall with him too. - Commentator Paul has fully exposed himself as a co-conspirator in Jono's shell game along SW Africa's normally quiet coastline. These 2 fools actually think they can 'dream-up' surf spot scenarios, & brag about having more inside scoop than any combination local surfer, meteorologist, geographer, oceanographer, privileged diamond family member, & google-maniac earthling could ever obtain without being a virtual modern day Einstein! Nothing on earth is perfect ALWAYS you imbeciles!! Except photography stills, or death -- which is still life -- and that decomposes over time. You & your posse are only googlers, or blabbermouthed busy-bodies just trying to be something you can't possibly ever be -- NO ONE, NOWHERE, & AT NO TIME IS ANYTHING EVER ALWAYS PERFECT AS YOU CLOWNS SEEM TO THINK YOU CAN PROFESS IT TO BE SO -- did you notice that 'spacing' between no+one there Bru? That's because you spell it as 'noone' along with your idea of 'awsome' -- which is spelled awesome if you were the genius you think you are -- so shut your collective 'diamond mine' weenie-holes for good; before your collective karma shuts all of Jono's pussy-posse down quite magically!!

Be prepared for eating lots of reef on every wipeout. - On smaller days you can walk out onto the reef and time the sets so that you jump in and paddle only about 3 meters to get to the backline. Sic, heavy wave when on. On bigger days all you need is Jesus.. and cocaine to sum up the courage.
