From regional Jayapura airport, take main road (only one) toward Abepura/Jayapura. In Abepura at the main traffic circle, turn right and immediate left, then follow that road approximately 20-25 kilometers (you will pass signs for Holtekamp along the way). Eventually you will see signs for Skouw and Perbatasan-(border), take a left and follow those signs for Skouw. We normally surf to the right of the village (where we park). There are man-made barrier cement blocks to protect the village from floods, and we usually surf to the east of these. Typically where the mouth of the (sometimes dry) river dumps to the ocean, either side works. This is usually an off-season surf spot (June-October) since during the main season (Nov-May) the surf gets too big and sloppy, making it too difficult to get past the breakers.
