English (Traducir este texto en Español): Its about an hour North of the town of Krui, which is about 6 hours from Bandar Lampung on mainland Java. You need to fly there from Jakarta or Bali. Don't want to say too much but just follow the main road and you will get there eventually :) With luck you will see an epic right (Jimmys Right) that resembles a cross between Backdoor Pipe and Cloud 9, and the other side of the bay is a long, long left (Jimmy's Left) DistanciaCoja un coche LlegadaAcceso directo (< 5min) ¿Fácil de encontrar?Hay que buscar un poco ¿Acceso publico?Acceso publico Acceso especialNo sé |

English (Traducir este texto en Español): Epic, heavy right with NO CROWD. its a cross between backdoor pipe and cloud 9. very fast, holds pretty much any size. what are you waiting for? get amongst it!
Ambiente
English (Traducir este texto en Español): Unbelievable wave.. I wish I could live all year round in a tent on this beach! Cant wait to go back!!
It's a very dangerous wave that does not work that often because of the trade wind and because it needs a big swell.

sometimes - when Karang-Ujung starts closing out go up and check it.checked twice to no avail. 3rd time went up solo and stayed at guys house across the bay.got it solo for 4 days, solid double overhead plus during a huge May swell.last day paddled across bay and sat back aways, scary big, paddled back, live to surf another day.always surfed it real conservative, didn´t toy with the barrel section just made sure to kick out.definite double boil, toil and trouble on the inside.

- I agree with the comments below: Jimmy's is not as perfect as described above. It's a sometimes wave, bc it's exposed to the trade wind and bc it needs a lot of swell to work. Plus that reef is dangerous. I suspect that some surfcamps in the area are trying to attract people by hyping up some of the spots...

don't believe the hype - wave is ok, could turn on with right conditions, needs no wind or NW storm winds. not world class, end section takes that away. But can be v.good sometimes. Beautiful beach, clean water. A backup plan if NW winds strike, swell is big or you love rights. May only be good 10% of the time. I've seen it 4x 10 yrs ago and 2x last week.
