There is another epic spot before you get to Majestics worth checking out on the way called Moning, outer right hand reef break you have to hire bankai boat to get to.

do not go there - Do not go there and i repeat do not go there as me and my wife have had the worse experience that you could ever imagine there. Me and my wife decided to move there after we looked at the place for a few months online and we contacted them and they said they had an apartment for 10,000 peso per month so we decided to grab it. After 2 weeks of staying the unimaginable happened as one of the employees there came into our apartment rotten drunk and off his head on shabu and sat down beside my wife on the lounge and asked her in tagalog to f%$# him while myself and the children were in the same room and my wife told him to get out of the house or otherwise she ill shoot him. I didnt understand what had happened until my filapine wife just explained what happened so i said we will get the police here. We got the police there and they found him hiding in his house and his employer told the police what had happened and the police arrested him aand took him baras for questioning. The police took our statements and held him overnight and told us they were going to charge him for harrassment and also he was not to come near my wife and children again. The following day he was released and his employer at majestics fired him for what he did and an hour later he decided to commit suicide by hanging himself with a rope in a rice field hut. My wife was that frightened of revenge attacks from his family that we decided to flee. Once we fled majestics with all of our belongings we recieved several death threats on our facebook from the guys relatives saying that karma was going to catch up with us so my wife even now still lives in fear worrying that there family are going to hurt her. Its easily the worse experience ive ever had in surfing and I can only say to everyone who is reading to be extra careful when u go to majestics phillipines as i dont think anyone out there wants to experience what we did.
If anyone thinks this is a hoax then email me richard7632@hotmail.com and we will show you the police reports if you wish to see them.

Fickle But Sick - Majestics can be flat for ages, then just pump, pump, pump.
It's a sick, sick, hollow wave. Too much for most people to handle. The reef will open you up, too. Last time I checked, not a lot of hospitals in the area.
Haven't been there for ten years. I imagine the people surrounding Puraran have gotten more daring and aggressive. But I could be wrong.

no-good - This place has no power or shape even on a huge swell.Poverty has forced the local children (and some adults) to live in the water near shore and swim around the tourists like little remora and snip out their wallets and eat their doo-doo see this is what you get as commonplace in the third world!!!
