English (Traducir este texto en Español): From the town of Crescent Head it is a fifteen minute walk over 'Big Nobby'. There is a street called East Street (with the bakery) and at the top of the street there is a staircase. This lead over to a bush track down to Back Beach. Before you walk down though, have a look, because the walk back up is not too fun. English (Traducir este texto en Español): Check Crescent before you go as Crescent can be one of the best breaks in the world, but if it's not working then check the norhern point which is protected by the headland. Do not be fool into going right off the point as there are submerged rocks that have snapped many boards. Go left.
Ambiente
English (Traducir este texto en Español): In the holidays Back beach is a place for Crescent locals to escape from the crowds so when you go there (especially in the holidays) give them a bit of room. It's a big beach and with all the tourists, they deserve a wave or two.
General
English (Traducir este texto en Español): It's a good spot for shorties but it doesnt compare to Crescent.

- i agree with Byron, just remember that creso isnt just a mal riders place but for short boards too, and when the surf is pumpin and u have a bunch of kooks on mals droppin in on you it really takes the fun out of surfin.

touro mal riders a bit of respect - My name is Byron and im a local at creso.I just thought i would write in and tell the hundereds of mal riders that come to holiday at crescent to give us locals a break.Yous jump off the point paddle straight up the inside and try and get the next set and when we drop in on yous ,yous yell and yahoo about it.i dont mind people holidaying it brings money to the town but a little respect would go a long way!people think creso is a mal riders wave but once it hits over 4-5 foot with good sand you could easily find your self catching a wave to the shore!.

i rekon ay!! - hey another local here... i agree with joel and byron... last easter was pretty darn good with most of the mcnamaras out there (im part of the mcnamara clan/tribe/gang... most locals know one of us)... as well as about a gazillion unco kookish touros that managed to maim my little brother who quite innocently enough, was swimming close to the shorebreak. honestly if you're gonna be a kook do it on your own turf
