English (Traducir este texto en Español): Suited to a bodyboard and a shortboard. This compares to Shark island on it's day.
Ambiente
English (Traducir este texto en Español): As a local, I have never seen an L.A lineup with more than about 20 people. If you are a blow-in, respect the locals and don't snake.
General
English (Traducir este texto en Español): Fun to surf in 2-4ft swell, once it starts getting bigger you would need to have had practice surfing it beforehand. The only downside is that it is shorter than most waves of it's class.

- i live here and the older locals get every wave.
you need to hassle to get waves even if you do live here.
by sitting and waiting your turn you might get one average wave in asurf when its good
if your charging then you will get waves thats the only way you will ever get respect off the locals.

How To Get Waves Here - The best way to get waves at la is to use respect. Respect the wave, respect your fellow surfers and bodyboarders and most importantly, respect the lineup. I've seen too many people paddle out here, then paddle straight to the inside oblivious of the people that have been waiting for 20 minutes. People aren't waiting in that spot cause that's the deepest they'll go, its cause their obeying the lineup system that makes everyone's surf pleasant. So when you're paddling out there, wait at the end of the lineup and your turn will come. Otherwise you'll be dropped in on, called off and not allowed to get any decent waves.
See you out there
