English (Traducir este texto en Español): Walk out onto the sandbar at Pinkenba or Fisherman's Island. Before ya go check the Cruise ship/tankership schedule in the Courier Mail and make sure there are big ships scheduled to enter the port. Get a mini mal and wait for a tanker to pass and about 10 perfectly peeling 1 footer's will come through. get the third wave of the set... If ya miss it you will have to wait a long time for the next one. long rides though.
Ambiente
English (Traducir este texto en Español): You are out the front of the brisbane river with mangroves on one side and a massive port on the other. take a fishing rod and drop a line in while ya wait for the ships to come through. There's a couple of ships per hour.
General
English (Traducir este texto en Español): Pretty shithouse but so is living in brisbane.

Coochie mudlow surf camp - now operating - In light of all the recent interest in wake surfing in moreton bay we hav edecied to tell the world about our exclusive resort located on the beautifull Island Of Coochie mudlow. The Island is open to all kinds of swell (depending on shipping times) and has 6 known breaks-all world class, in the 1-2 foot size range. Take advantage of our opening specials. For the next 2 weeks only we will only be charging the low low price of $550.00 per day. That includes boat trips out to the breaks, tent style accom, unlimited sausage sizzles and a daily ration of 2 cartons of XXXX a day.

HAHAHAA - These comments are the funniest things i have read in a long time! I think this wave is possible only because ive seen people surf the Stradbroke Island barge wake just off cleveland. I don't think it would be worth al the trouble and pollution to try surf to surf ship wakesin Moreton Bay seeing as there are so many very clean ACTUAL world class waves surrounding the area of the bay. Also, on youtube there is a video taken somewhere in Northern NSW i think the Clarance River probably and this guy is surfing what looks like a very fun 2 foot wake wave being generated by his mates boat. The boat kind looks like a trawler or something of decent size. Being able to generate the waves at will, in clean water, when there is no swell at the beach, i think that would be fun.
