English (Traducir este texto en Español): to surf this spot well you need to know how to take a beating. ive seen is 6 foot and breaking in 2 inches of water right onto the beach. but on other days it can break out a bit further. at least far enough to get a desent ride.
Ambiente
English (Traducir este texto en Español): its a bit scary at times. like when you feel something big swiming underneath you or when you tryin to drop into an over vert face and land on dry sand.

cyclone 6 footers - iv lived at emu park for about 4 years and have seen it on its ups and downs,, but or anyone who thinks this place is shit, u just have to give it some time. during cyclone hamish at the start of the year, i surfed shellys beach for about 3 hours and saw atleast 15 waves that were 6ft+ and barreling,, so take my advice and give it some time.
