Shoreys - This place gets some of the gnarliest shoreys on the right day! Loving it. Goldy Skimboarders come here when the beach steeps up, there nuts! boosting some hard out airs! and sick wraps! one dude who has a white carbon skimboard shreds!!

Worst months ever - Hardly worked properly for months multiple fast breaking peaks no long walls, 40' sand pumping pipe left in the break must be part of the problem plus all the other messing with nature down the coast - Snapper not as good now either

- Ever since the 1999-2000 beach bulldozing exercise. This place has gone from total great to CRAP. Unless you are a Pro then you go to the point where all the sharp pointy rocks are when it is 6ft+.

yeh nuts place - this is my second break i fav the mostcrazy bank people will know that it is extremly crowded but if ur good hit sharkies and u will find some insane tubes. the cove is gud not soo many rocks but very crowdedthe beginers are better off hitting the side of the headland were there isnt as many rocks unde rneath and is usualli not as crowded. but burleigh is insane barrels all the time give it a go
Por point local before there were locals , 05-01-2007
burleigh 07 - the banks have been blown into place with months of onshore northlies..the first cyclone swell will show burleigh at its sand crunching barrell best ..boards will be broken on every set over six feet or tubes that will blow your mind..crowds are always here ..locals will drop in on local only a grade waves..just like your home break..so shut your mouth when you get snaked..karma will turn good and you will be in the spot sooner or later....the rocks are still your bigest problem..dont paddle out of the creek when the tide is comeing in...dont follow a local off the rocks ..they go the narly way..pick your own rock.be brave not stupid..dont drop in on any chicks or little groms

Burleigh is always blown out! - I gave up surfing Burleigh and only use my kite now! I get awesome air. I usually fly it from the grass on the cliff. I kind a dig that Mary Poppins movie. They get some good air. The locals can be hostile. A got my line tangled up with this 12 year old kid. He gave my shins a good shiner. I am gunna try Kirra next.

2003 web. - what a year for bravado, americans thank you for your abstaining inteligence. You should all invade a great surf spot in the canaries called la santa, you'll have a great time pulling into double barrells with some like minded 'pals', drinking beers together, checking out local women, laughing about the price of petrol, and reminiscing about when you got burleigh cove at 8ft... the american dream..
Por Anonymous , 19-08-2006
Shifty - Burleigh is solid when pumping but very shifty. Might only turn on properly for half - one hour then flattens out. Can be fat and mushy but if tide is low/right, solid swell, offshores = burleigh barrel. Too crowded = aggrovation = dickheads.
