Rebounds is a righthander that works best, as the name suggests, when swell bounces of the cliff and links up with the next set to create sometimes huge A frame peaks that can peel for some distance. The takeoff can be a little sketchy when its big, but otherwise anyone can surf it, however there are some large rocks close to the ideal takeoff point. Tends to be popular with bodyboarders.

Ambiente

The pick of the breaks around the South Arm area on an average swell day. Has been known to handle some big stuff too. Localism can be a bit of a put off when its crowded, but that is rare. Gets great westerly wind protection too, which is ideal as seen as westerly wing blow approx. 75% of the time, especially in winter.

General

Its a great spot. The car park is about 1 minute walk from the water edge, it rarely get crowded (not many places in Tassie do!), and there is always something to grovel in, even on flat days.

Rebounds - Came here once with a mate, stevie, from hobart. I live in vic so it was awesome to see some fun spots in TAS. The Aframe is seriously fun, bodyboarders have good reason to love the place. The thing can barrel for ages!props to the tassie locals! they were constantly polite and no drop-in or nothing, no localism as far as i know!
