About Baldy - Anyone who knows about the recent surfing history of Wye River would no that Baldy, the point at Wye has lost loads of its consistency over the last few years due to sand problems or something. But I have heard rumours that the sand is getting better there and it breaks everynow and then on a good swell. Is this true, are we really going to get the old Baldy back with perfect waves running down the point for hundreds of metres???
