English (Traducir este texto en Español): This is the ultimate beach. Better than pipeline i reckon when it works really well. Super packed but and the bodyboarders out there dont take much nonsense as most of them are better than us surfers!
Ambiente
English (Traducir este texto en Español): Amazing atmosphere! Crysal clear most days and the groin to the right stops all heavy winds
General

Sean who goes to Cott more than the locals not always to surf though, (7 days a week) consideringly making me a local but is willing to make an effort to trek a few miles north on occasions. - You are all just being defensive and offensive...
This spot is a favourite of mine.
I would rate it out of all the surf spots i have ever been to probably 107th over all, and thats approx exact.
This wave on one of it's 1-2 days of perfect swell a year goes really well, like worth putting in Tracks well. On the other hand, the other 362 days of the year are usually ok swell and half of those days are flat becuase Cott goes Swan River style during summer. But with the waves it's messy with massive crowds of people who think they are great and better than the pros and are to lazy to go to Scarborough or Trigg where there is quite often much more space seeings how there is 1 maybe 2 peaks at Cott on a good day which has about 30 boogers and 50 surfers crowding the shoulder.
Or these people are afraid they will get owned by people who are better surfers in Trigg or Scabs.
Plus if the swell does happen to be good at Cott it's usually like twice as good further north and with more space!
But all in all, there is those occasional days in Cott where you'll get a few nice rides when the swell is on.
Personally i think the best time is mid winter when the swell is so messy and windy no one is out, you'll find those days are the best, just get a good steamer.
Oh yeah and P.S. that last comment was mine...just forgot to put a title on it.

chow - Ok Sean, next time it's a 5m plus swell with 30knots plus south-westers then you head your self up to trig or scabs and surf the wahing machine, guarantee you'll have it to yourself. As for owning and being owned, well I am not into surfing to show off like many, I surf because I love it.
