Great Wave - GREAT WAVE
Surfed it two days in a row, one evening and one dawn patrol. There were a few cool locals out during the evening session, but I didnt see a soul for 5 hours during the morning session(besides the odd barge and turtle spearers). You can catch a rid to the island for $10 a head. When you get to limon, go to playa bonita and ask around for a guy named "Roach" (juan carlos officially) he will take care of you.

im sorry but Panic rulez - 2 stars, and say thank you costa rica. 4 stars is for really good surf spots like Cabo Blanco and Panic Point in Peru. Real big strong fast holllow ass kicking tubes.

Seattle Billabong - Good wave. Not as good as la carola in Ecuador or Cabo Blanco and/or Panic Point in Peru but still a good wave. Like punta rocas in el salvador i would have to say.

Isla Uvita por lo menos 4 estrellas - Esta es una ola que merece al menos 4 estrellas nunca 2... la he surfeado al menos 10 veces y es perfecta, tubular y poderosa

swell season - Just as the rest of the Carribean region, the best time for swell is around December through March. Though i was on the carribean side of Panama this past May and i caught a nice ENE swell. Very fun, couple guys out. Lots of reef breaks. All good. Go search.
