San Blas - cool place best place to stay is the "Barriles Guesthouse" pool,nice terrace ,friendly owners and good food right in front of the Break really cool sometimes long wave though it was small this time.Probably less crowded than the other places.

nice beach house to rent is san blas - Well, San Blas its located in a very priviledged area, between Punta Roca and Sunzal, and its a better place to stay instead of being in crowded areas, i stayed in this house and the whole trip was just great, just rent a car and go to the beaches you like, i stayed in san blas beach house, the website is : www.playasanblas.com is cheaper than a hotel and is better. i definitevely recommend it! see ya

Not the best - Impressive pictures! However, its not very day that one finds waves of this caliber. Don't waste your time on this spot. Punta Roca will deliver a better set than San Blas.

Yeesh - My buddy and I turned off the road here hoping to find it to ourselves. We did. On his second wave, he went over the falls on a closeout and snapped his board. He signaled to me to keep surfing. I spent the next ten minutes dodging closeouts. I looked back and saw two locals approach him and thought, sweet, a little mingling with the locals. Well I was right. I looked on in between poundings as they relieved my buddy of both pieces of his board, his leash and his boardshorts. I would've laughed if I wasn't afraid I would lose my shwag. My buddy ran into the water and we waited until they left.
Thank god they didn't screw with our rental.
This place hits hard. Watch your back.
