English (Traducir este texto en Español): Burros is out on the point of Punta de Mita. About 40 minutes north of Puerto Vallarta. Palladium Vallarta Resort(formerly Viva Vallarta) sits right on the beach and staying there provides the best access. If not, you can hire a ponga (boat) in El Enclote or one of the other fishing villages to take you there. If you find the right road before the Palladium Vallarta entrance, you can hike about 3/4 mile in.
+
Arrive by car to Palladium Vallarta beach club in Punta de Mita, walk by the beach 10 minutes to get there. Ambiente
English (Traducir este texto en Español): A really good, fun wave. I've heard it does get big, but there is a pretty good channel on either side to paddle out. Wave is primarily a right, but there is a left off of it and another left that breaks across the little channel coming towards the right. Best in the morning and evening, when the winds are light and offshore. Even when there are a few people in the water, the vibe is friendly from the locals. Usually, it’s non-locals that have attitudes. Some good local surfers. Stash your gear on the beach and it should be fine, but keep an eye towards it. If you walk in, bring water, it gets hot.
General
English (Traducir este texto en Español): I like the spot, it gives you enough power if you're a good surfer, but is forgiving enough if your more the beginner.

Great break - nice right reef break - The break is a solid right and the spot is usually pretty empty. Most of the surfers in the water are travelers but the locals in the water were laid back and friendly especially if you speak spanish. Palladium won't let you enter if you're not a guest so you need to park down the alley to the left of the hotel and take a short easy trek through the jungle (

Burros - Fun wave, nice shoulder to it. Needs a little bigger swell to have some speed. Keep an eye on belongings on the beach, Feb. 06 .. got food poisoning while camping there, while I lay in the jungle puking just behind camp some one went through our stuff and walked off with 3000 dollars worth of Nikon photo gear. Not sure if it was someone from that damn resort or a local. I would hope it was a fat sunburned american though. Watch for the Chupacabra!!
