Oosterstaketsel is gone!! - It's sad,but this place doesn't excist anymore! They tore down the pier(staketsel),wich produced the good waves,to build a huge harbourwall.

A change is comming - To all you wanking over beginners taking over your spot, let me inform you that the lay-out of this spot seriously change in the coming years. Extensive port works on the east-side of the port entrance will soon begin. There will be lots of dredging and all us surfers can do is hope that it will be for the better, hoping that one of our only working low-tide spots will be preserved. So 4 the time being let's fully enjoy the spot in its current state. Cheers Shaved my wifeSo 4 the time beeing let's fully enjoy the spot in its current state. Cheers Shaved my wife

- damn what is wrong at this spots, seems likebeginners are taking over the spot, well no way!!!! everyone has the right to learn to surf, but you don't have the right to be in the way of the people who are already surfing the waves!!!!!! so please if you are still learning watch the peeps catching the waves and try to stay out of their way, i also had to learn but there is no need to be on or even near the peak if ya are still learning, so please respect the other surfers in the water, or be prepared to get lots of insults and angry faces maybe a fist if you peeps keep spoiling the fun for the other surfers.there are very few rules in surfing, so shouldn't be to difficult to follow them no.........

crowds - think the description of the spot should change to very crowded during week and weekend!!!!

beware of the locals - some days ago had some very bad experience with the local dudes, well i guess they are locals, over there. So i've you go there respect them otherwise you'll end up like me with a fist in your face and a damaged board, better to miss a wave then to have a broken board no, kinda funny localism exists even in belgium
