this spot is called "Salty Dogs" in Tribe Territory!!! - dunno who posted this, but the info is wrong. it is a sacred spot of the cretan surf tribe and is under total protection of its location. this is a photo vangelis took AFTER the surf had gone majorly down...total cretan perfection!!

this spot exist! very fast, nice shaped and head high - sorry, but i have to confirm, this spot exist and works very well! My name is vangelis or evangelos and I surf usually, very regular in costa rica. I took this pix on my honeymoon, after a very nice session with taso, a very friendly local from Crete. This pix shows the beachbreak after the session. An greek windsurfer called us up on the mobile, staying somewhere on the hill and realizing that there is a beach with full offshore waves, thanx for the tip! Very fast, nice shaped and head high, nobody in the water and the lifeguard tried to keep us out of the water, because he did not understand that this conditions were made for wave surfing ;-) in september 2003. I try to post the second picture after the session. For me a dammed good feeling to know that we have waves in greece, in crete you have also to be a little bit lucky, but luck helps you only if you have a board ;-) don’t go out without you baby!
