not that bad though - We went to falasarna in 2003, and stayed there for 5 days. One of the days was decent enuff 2 surf, with 6-8 ft waves, maybe up 2 9-10 during the early morning. Had a great time laughing at the crew for entering mini-tubes near the shore that day! Would not compare it to Hawaii even without ever having been there, but I have heard from locals that the place can get real nasty...and of course if you go there on such a day, be real careful about currents, yes they do exist and are a bit tricky I hear. Will probably be there inna few days so I hope i get some decent waves somewhere.

Oh, come on... - I have posted the latest pics for Falassarna. The waves were ok but they lacked power. Whoever described that the spot is for experienced surfers is dead wrong! Any intermediate surfer can ride these waves. So, to the readers of this site, do not be fooled by the Mavericks, Jaws and Bellhara(France) comparisons of this spot...It's a regular Mediterranian wave, with beautiful water and surroundings.And do not fear the locals, as the spot description states.They are very friendly and helpful as long as you wear a smile, you are humble and you show respect.
