 Información adicional

This spot starts wortking at 2m, so the wave has always a lot of energy and break very powerful. I had there some serious holddowns and contact with the sandy bottom. So in my opinion this spot is most of the time no suitable for beginners. The left part of the beach (Sardinero II) picks up less swell then the right part.
On the wall of the Hotel Chiqui starts a left wave usually taken by bodyboarders, but the takeoff zone is tight and the atmosphere very very competetive.

Ambiente

Most of the time a good atmosphere, but on weekends and good conditions this spot is supercrowded with some bad vibes.

General

This spot is a option for the big days. Often offshore when everwhere else is choppy and onshore. But the wave breaks often close out...too often, maybe 9 from 10 waves are no surfable. Nevertheless when the wave is on there are the crowds on it, due it´s location in the city.

- Don't think there is any sharks - this simpleton is clearly out of his mind. There is a lot of closeouts, however, and it tends to be crowded. The liencres crew all pile in when that gets maxed out. I lived 5 mins walk away for a year and only surfed it a couple of times because it's so closed out.

.. - Well I guess that makes me numbero uno.. Let me tell yo people about this spot..not very know to most people is that this place atracts alot of sharks..small ones..but they seem to like it out here..so do those jellyfish..and gaint lobsters. When the swell comes from the West a nasty ripcurrent can turn this place into the longest paddling session you've ever done..and last but not least..the killer-kamikaze seagulls..you don't want to mess with them believe you me..they go for the eyes and attack in group. I can see wh nobody has ever posted a message about this spot..maby because none now live to tell their story. But seriously you should check this spot out..on a medium-sized day this place is alot of fun..and not a living soul out there..or is there..?H
