Pease Bay Caravan park - Hi there,I have surfed Pease Bay for 18 months now.Last winter was very bad, super onshore winds and super northerly swell made the place rarely surfable. The caravan park owner seems not very surf oriented.Since few months you cannot longer sleep there with your van.Once he tried to restrict toilet access to localstatic owners only. This summer has been super flat. So, if you go there bring a good book or head back to ForthKinnaird retail park(towards edinburgh) for a few hours while you wait because it can be very disappointing and nerve racking.

moritz - pease is a nice place to go from edinburgh - fast to reach, easy to access, nice people and always a lift to find in E! Typical beachbreak though, no superlong rides, but the waves can become quite clean when its southerly winds. There is some wreck-piece on the left hand side of the bay (in front of the rocks), which can be easily overseen when riding down a wave - watch out. The right hand side is mostly better because of the windshadow, altough there are some rocks - so don't fall head first! In the middle is perfectly safe, nice sandy beach, good for beginners and everybody who wants to catch some relaxed waves...
