upton - there is more than one upton in cornwall. The section of St Ives Bay between Beachside and Peter's is also known as Upton Towans.

Get a grip guys. - This chap is talking about HAWKES POINT. There is also a different way to access it from the end of a road, turn right not far from reaching the station. Park at the end of the road, turn left directly by Hawkes Point House, follow the path, go over the railway line, turn right and head down the cliff path. Hardly a secret spot, was there yesterday and the place was zooed.

actually... - upton north of widemuff has hundreds of yards of sand. i guess the meaning of beach must have been redefined. or maybe you've never bothered to get out of your car and look whats under them there cliffs. tis ok tho - as long as people stay this ignorant there will be plenty of quiet waves about.

upon??? - upton is actually just past widmouth towards bude you dumb fuck. not anywhere near gwithian it's not good at all and a hike down the cliffs to get there. it also is a high tide spot that gets alot of rips and undertow so it aint worth the effort

idiots - If you so called locals actualy read the review you would see it is a total wind up, the only breaks north of upton towans is Gwithian itself , Red river, and if you fancy the trek and the shite from the sewar pipe on north clifs, Basset cove( buy a map). What are you guys like you realy out to try travelling a litle bit, dont be so insular, I was in Hawaii last year , Barbados in march, and Biaritz last week and you have really got to respect all this my beach, my wave, Im local, hes not sucks. Smile when you paddle out, you will be suprised, I did it in Hawaii and on the 2nd surf of my hols was on 1st name terms with the locals, and they are local.
