English (Traducir este texto en Español): This spot and others in the area tend to be two to three feet smaller than the spots in Scarborough on average.Parking is close with areas over looking breaks. These spots are never crowded with only a hand full of people at any break.
Ambiente
English (Traducir este texto en Español): It is always a laid back atmosphere with people traveling from Cleethorpes,Louth and the surrounding areas.
General
English (Traducir este texto en Español): Since the local water authority removed the break waters and rebuilt this stretch of coastline by dredgeing sand the sand bars are now very prominant, the increase in the sand has increased the depth and spots now work best low to mid tide<br />from three to six feet.waves can be hollow when the swell is a good size and the wind is coming from a westerly direction.

sandlands is OK - to be honest if its working on the east coast yorkswill be better than lincs but if you are in the areaand the wind has been N/NE/E to build a swell thereare some reasonable beach breaks - best location depends on the shifting sandbars - currently sandilands is pretty good- water is a bit brown at low tide but it is NOT pollution - SOS is a blue flag beach !

WINTER SURFING AT ANDERBY CREEK - The North Sea, on shore wind that makes it practically impossible to get the board to the water and particullarly well placed sand bars right now conspire to create very surfable waves at Anderby Creek. I wish you could have been here!!!!
