- Tiburones
English (Traducir este texto en Español): Don't get trapped at the south end of the bay at high tide cos it's a sketchy exit and you'll get pounded into the tidal wall.
Ambiente
English (Traducir este texto en Español): Very friendly spot and enuff peaks to spread the crowds. Also theres larger peaks at the south end in front of the spa which keeps beginners in the North End of the bay. Have seen it with 70+ people in and still had a decent surf. You always meet travelling surfers on bigger swells.
General
English (Traducir este texto en Español): The bay does suffer 1 mile close outs all the time, but there are looong rides to be had sometimes.

Surfing For All - The oceans and the seas belong to no individual. Throughout the history of the world they have served as an invaluable companion to life. Nobody likes it when it's crowded and they want to surf, but unfortunately we live in an overpopulated world. England is a small country and we must share the waves we have. Might i suggest that rather than developing a localism culture, if you find yourself frustrated that your "local" break is overcrowded, get off you lazy arse and find somewhere else to surf. Broaden your horizons. Travel the World. Find a wave and respect it along with anybody else who chooses to do so. Find a way!!! I am married with two kids and a shitty paying job , but where there's a will.......theres a wave. Peace.

south bay fun - not a bad break on on its day, great for learners, lots of shelter from the winds, can get good on se swells when elsewhere is flat. Park in underground its cheap. Nice little surf shop up under the bridge.
