English (Traducir este texto en Español): There are two waves at this spot.
Low-tide: a beach break but you have to climb across rocks to get to it.
High-tide: a short but can be hollow reef who dumps straight onto to concrete. As the tide gets lower this wave becomes more hollower but shallower.

Best to surf it on a big swell.
Ambiente
English (Traducir este texto en Español): This spot can fire when on the right swell and wind but don't do not hold your breath. It does not break every day. The locals are very friendly but the peak can get crowded.

Quiet spot not to many surf there.
General
English (Traducir este texto en Español): Good wave on the right size swell.

This spot is good when it works and can produce hollow waves with the wave SOMETIMES getting 4ft+.

Re: Not A Local - It's weird the amount of people that slag off Porthcawl and it's locals. We seem to get a lot of stick from the swansea boys and the llantwit boys. I guess it's jealousy or something. Porthcawl seems to have the most consistent breaks in Wales and has the biggest talent pool too. Legends like Gregg Owen, Rhino, Simon Tucker, Paul Lovell to name but a few.

not a local - this is a sick break but rarely works and when it does the locals are all over it + better spots working along this part of the coast at same time. I dont know why people make fun of the porthcawl locals- the standard is higher than the gower etc (Rhino,Greg etc.).
