facts you need to know about this spot. - there is a reason this spot is not on surfline and other sites etc.
for one, the hut and paradise cove are separate spots. there are no locals that care about paradise cover at all, by all means surf there, its rarely firing. but if you don't know where the hut is than lets keep it that way.
two, almost all of malibu's surf spots are crowded with people from all over LA. there are few spots where people who grew up in malibu can surf without dealing with these insane crowds. so if you know where these secret spots are then have some respect for these hidden gems.
lastly, if you are a rare person who knows where this place is, and you don't live within the 90265 malibu zip code; come to this spot alone and prepare to get a few less waves than the very few people out.
us locals are not rude or trying to hassle anyone, i myself have lived in malibu since i was 9 and i have even gotten a little attitude out in the water before. if you are respectful and don't go paddling for every wave as if its the pipe masters then everything will be smooth

- This place is a great surf spot I've surfed it hundreds of time and welcome anyone to come surf here. This guys are just a bunch of hobos who are talking nonsense. My Grandmother is more dangerous than these "locals".

again why bother with the cove - the waves there usually tiny ....just the right size though for the local surfer who does not stand any taller than 5'5''. i am not kidding the man-boys there are seriously height challenged!
