English (Traducir este texto en Español): Bring a big board. You'll get crushed on a shortboard. This wave really ledges up and if you drop in late you will get waxed. Easy paddle out in channel.
Ambiente
English (Traducir este texto en Español): When this spot is on - its on. Big winter swells pound this place. Its one of those wave where you can see how thick it is when your standing on the beach. You can go left but its just a shoulder. Go right and really feel the juice. Wrong place, wrong time - hold your breath. This spot doesn't get to crowded simply because its a gnarly wave. If your a beginner you'll probably die if caught inside.
General
English (Traducir este texto en Español): Great warm up for Todos Santos. Not many places in San Diego move with this kind of Juice. Riding a wave here is exhilerating.

Hmmmm - Well, this place is real inconsistant. Breaks like a normal surf spot(consistant ridable waves coming in) only a couple times a year. The left is pretty mush, just fades after the drop. The right is a lined up wall the doesn't quite barrel. It's not a great wave, but it's fun if you're keen to surfing heavier spots. Don't go out here if you're not from La Jolla though. You'll get spotted out and won't get any waves. But if it's 3x overhead plus then you're cool. It's nothing but respect for everyone out at that size.

- I usually surf on biggest days in san diego. I'll hit the usual big spots Blacks, the cove, or outside marine street depending which one is better that day. I'm not saying anyone of them is better but I've gotten the biggest wave i've ever surfed in san diego here at outside marine street.Im guessing around a 20ft wave i don't know exactly. just one other guy out and me and he said that was the biggest wave he's seen ridden there in years. It helped that i had a 10ft. board though.
