English (Traducir este texto en Español): This wave is extremly heavy when its big. Not for the inexpierenced. The drop is very crucial (bring a shortboard or semi gun). After the drop a thick grinding tube reels down the line. The right barrels right of the takeoff then closes out on the inside. Also, there is no channel on the right. The left barrels just as good as the right. When you come out of the barrel on the left you will see a nice steep wall for hits and carves. When you kick out there is a channel to paddle back out through.

English (Traducir este texto en Español): Wear booties!! The reef is very sharp when you walk out. Also, if you get caught inside don't duckdive you WILL hit the bottom.

HAHA! - Pretty funny people talking like suckouts is some pro wave. It's suck outs! Land of the longboarders who cruise over from cardiff. Yeah there is a spot to sit but that place is tame compared to other sand diego throwing breaks. I've surfed it up to 12 foot also. Many times in the 6-8 range.

lived front row for a decade - its only suckouts when it gets so low the longboarders cant make the drop anymore. then its mostly a right. u can get a tube and come out before it closes out, maybe even get a hit in. lefts are usually just a closeout u cant make. i spent 20 some years on that left. the boys would sit shoulder to shoulder with me and go right since they knew i was goin left.
