English (Traducir este texto en Español): The wave gets real hollow and ledgy on the inside and you have to make the barrel or have enough speed to make the section.
Ambiente
English (Traducir este texto en Español): Wave takes a couple trys to get used to the fast take off but after an hour the wave is fun and easy. Offshore winds will make the corners super hollow. But the right swell direction will also give you the chance to pull into nice tubes.

Directions are wrong - These directions are wrong, what you really do is you drive down highway 1 southbound untill you get to Pismo, then there is a big pier, you get your suit on and paddle out to the left of the pier, thats Corners, this other place is a made up joke to fool all of the Wannasurf people.

OH BOY..... - Sure am glad I left SLO DOWN before the local gene pool mutated. You guys are a real piece of work. If you are truly interested in riding these nifty places, and you are concerned about them losing their virginity to wannasurf, then don't access the site. Put your board and suit in a car, and start driving. Seek and ye will find...Otherwise, just read or look at the pretty pictures and keep your IQ to yourself.By the way, that really is a good, fair-eyed photo of the Rock on an average day, not The Corner (or "Corners" as you seem to like it). Finally, I might remind those in the know that there is another spot that only breaks about every 3 or 4 years, right next to the Corner. No, not the South Jetty, which is actually the south side of the south jetty. If you ever have the pleasure of pulling into one of those pipes(without being pulled out to sea), you will know what "hollow," "thick," and "tubular" truly mean.Let's face it, the trade-off for occasional righteous conditions is the qualifier "occasional." The SLO DOWN coastline is fickle, beautiful, and voluptuous - like my first wife. Enjoy her as much as you can while she's still there, mates.
