English (Traducir este texto en Español): It's a nudist beach so dont go if u have a problem with that. The wave is heavy and powerful so be careful.
Ambiente
English (Traducir este texto en Español): Good wave to surf. Noone is ever there so you never have to worry about the lineup. The wave is always bigger than most spots even when there is not much of a swell. During spring u can surf with the gray whales that frequent the area too.
General
English (Traducir este texto en Español): This spot is good if u dont mind being alone in sharky waters on a heavy powerful wave that can kick your ass.

Grey Whale Cove - It used to be less crowded before they built the huge parking lot. Still it is usually uncrowded. A great place to go if you want to be alone. Kind of a novelty spot but there are barrels to be had. Most of the time though they are close-out barrels and in really shallow water. Good board or neck-breaking waves. Always bigger than it looks, and very powerful. I've had a few occasions where I was alone and felt very vulnerable with the deep, clear blue water and thinking of huge sharks. Also been heavily vibed by a huge sea lion. Beautiful place though and nice white sand beach

nice spot - Overall a very good fun spot. it's more consistent with much better wave quality than linda mar. Paddle out can be tough on heavy days, but it's worth it. As with everywhere mind your manners in the water and everyone is cool. For the guys talking about sharks, stop being greedy.

Grey Whale - I've been surfing grey whale for a few waves now, and on any day with a NW windswell between about 3 to 10 feet this place can be super fun and well sheltered from the wind. This spot isn't any sharkier than neighboring beaches, it just has steep cliffs and rocks and few people which has become associated with the term "sharky" for whatever reason. Usually uncrowded and plenty of room, but please show respect to locals here.
