During the winter months it sees the best surf with nor' easters, but it is extremely cold and requires wet suits. Paddle out next to the rocks and then head into the lineup. When it's really hitting, you get two breaks, but on a normal day you get one. Some locals don't like new faces, but the majority of people love new faces as long as u don't snake them of their waves. Beware of longboarders.
